Logo Design
The logo was designed by Tomo from Ra Designs, incorporating the following aspects:
- Weaving: Connected to Māori and Polynesian culture. Represents the flow of knowledge when people approach WFCD, gain knowledge, and use that knowledge to better their lives.
- Flower: Reminiscent of the Asian/Chinese lotus to reflect the strong Asian community we have.
- Shape: Reminiscent of Dunedin's landmark Octagon. Represents the octopus metaphor of reaching out to a broad array of different people and industries.
- Flow: Curvature represents growth, community, collaboration and creating a better future.
- Celtic Patterns: Represents the interconnectedness of the WFCD team and those they meet. Reflects the Scottish and European root of Dunedin.

Showreel videos, with their dynamic and visual nature, command attention and have the unique ability to captivate and immerse viewers into the fabric of an organisation’s story, establishing a connection which lingers long after the screen goes dark.
The artwork was donated by a local artist (Tomo from Ra Designs) to Workforce Central Dunedin and the drone footage came from a local videographer (Chase Haley from Chase Productions Ltd).

Do you mean maroon, scarlet, rose, ruby, crimson, etc.?
Why bother with stylescapes? Because first impressions matter! They provide the opportunity for every visual element of your brand to resonate with your customers, evoking the right emotions, associations and behaviours. Without them you risk mishaps, like looking like a donkey.
